About Passion Pit

Passion Pit is an American electropop band founded in 2007 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, led by frontman Michael Angelakos. Known for synth-pop, indie pop, alternative dance styles, and falsetto vocals. Popular songs include “Sleepyhead,” “Little Secrets,” “Take a Walk,” and “Carried Away.” Their latest full album is 2017’s Tremendous Sea of Love. Recent single: “American Blood” in 2023. They’ve charted top-10 on Billboard, reissued Gossamer in expanded form, and are noted for outspoken advocacy on mental health issues and raw, emotional lyricism.
